As a result of the earthquakes in Groningen, buildings are increasingly being damaged. The Netherlands had not yet defined guidelines for earthquake-proof construction. That is why NEN, together with experts, developed the NPR 9998 guideline. The NPR 9998 guideline was published on 18 December 2015.
